I’ve enrolled in an online Bible school —yes, even at my age!—but you’re never too old to learn new things! It’s never too late to learn, to try something new, or even to start over. The only things that can stop us are our own fears or insecurities.
Important note: Although the school is primarily taught in English, courses are also available in Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Spanish, French, and Arabic!
Christian Leaders Institute
The school I’m studying with, Christian Leaders Institute, is a great school for many reasons. Anyone can enroll, anywhere in the world, even without prior education. It’s tuition-free, and all you need is a device with an internet connection. You can also choose which courses to take, and can work at your own pace.
It’s not just theology
What I really like is that it’s not only theology and Bible study – as important as they are. Many of the courses deal with practical life and daily Christian living. These courses are useful for everyone who wants to grow in their Christian life!

Dayle, I have continued to take courses on and off. I’ve taken breaks due to health issues, and I’m doing so again now as I’ve taken on the task of translating my blog into Italian. There are only so many hours in a day! I’ve found the practical skills courses useful, but of course, the ones I’ve loved the most are the Bible courses. My favourite course was ‘Biblical Interpretation: Old Testament‘. One of the course objectives is to: “Grow in the ability to use the original background to understand Old Testament texts and apply them to contemporary life.” It’s a great course that fulfils this objective very well!

Hubby and I are both really enjoying it and learning a lot. I’m currently doing PeaceSmart Relationships and it is so valuable. Especially, I think, in the current climate of division and arguing. Lots of Scripture, but also good practical stuff!
