Discover My Italy region by region
Italy is separated into 20 administrative regions, each with its own cuisine and traditions. These, in turn, are subdivided into a total of 101 provinces. Each province is composed of many municipalities or comuni; 7918 in total. Several provinces together form a region, except the Aosta Valley region which is not subdivided. We have been blessed to live in several regions and to visit them all except the Aosta Valley, Friuli Venezia-Giulia and Sardinia! (Who knows? Perhaps soon!)
Learn about the various regions by clicking on the following links. (Additional links coming soon.)
